The Kansas Bar Association (KBA) was founded in 1882 as a voluntary association for dedicated legal professionals and has more than 6,900 members, including lawyers, judges, law students, and paralegals.

- Douglas County Bar Association (DCBA)
The Douglas County Bar Association is a nonprofit corporation whose members are lawyers residing in Douglas County, Kansas. The association provides opportunities for its members to exchange ideas and share information about the practice of law, to encourage professionalism, integrity and courtesy among its members, and to exhibit responsibility and leadership in the community. Through its activities the DCBA strives to foster community respect for the legal profession, as well as awareness of the ideals and principles embodied in our federal and state Constitutions and common law, and understanding of the legal system and the administration of justice.
- Johnson County Bar Association (JCBA)
Like most associations, the Johnson County Bar Association (JCBA) offers career development opportunities, with a host of occasions to network and learn. The beauty of the bar, however, is its unique ability to also make a difference in the legal profession - and the community. Through bench/bar interactions, committee initiatives and community service, members of the bar not only develop their skills and their careers, they also serve as advocates for change which reaches far beyond the doors of any individual firm.
- Kansas Association of Defense Council (KADC)
The purpose of KADC is to: provide for the exchange among members of information, ideas, techniques of procedure, and court rules relating to the handling of litigation; enhance the knowledge and improve the skills of defense lawyers; elevate the standards of trial practice; develop, establish, and secure court adoption or approval of a high standard code of trial conduct and courtroom manners; support and work for the improvement of the adversary system of jurisprudence in our courts; work for the administration of justice; and increase the quantity and quality of the service and contribution that the legal profession renders to the community, state, and nation.

The mission of this Association is to serve our members and our community by promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the law.
- Topeka Bar Association
The Topeka Bar Association presents attorneys in the Topeka and Shawnee County area with an organization that provides networking opportunities with other attorneys in the area, fun events, and continuing legal education.
- Wichita Bar Association (WBA)
The Wichita Bar Association was incorporated in 1915. Since that time it has been dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professionalism within the legal community. The WBA is committed to providing member and community services that promote learning, respect and appreciation of the law and the administration of justice.
